You Know It’s True.
The special spirit in your life: whether it’s your Mum, Dad, Aunty, Uncle, Grannie, or Theo, the Labradoodle. They are there for you. Every. Single. Day.
Celebrate once, twice, three times! And if you’re on the receiving end of things, then YES, we see, hear and love you!
Before we get onto the business side of things, let’s party up front (reverse mullet-style), and playfully look into the very beginnings of honouring ‘Mother’.
Fertility, florals and fire. What a trio! The time around what we know as ‘Mother’s Day’ coincides with seasonal shift and renewal. A holiday called ‘Beltane’ is a Gaelic festival, and is the midway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice.
Think floral headdresses, dancing around maypoles, and toasty warm bonfires. May was traditionally a time to celebrate the Mother Goddess and reflect on the passing season. The two traditions coincide and complement each other beautifully, even if we do say so ourselves.
But this was also the case in Greece, where they celebrated the Goddess Rhea, known as the Mother of the Gods (Heaven). Yes Queen! Literally.
Anywho! How would you like to celebrate the Mother Goddess Figure in your life? Let us suggest two things to help you and your special person have a wonderful day in May (and every other day).

Theo is Grateful
OK, so Theo the labradoodle might not understand just how amazing, cool, and lovely posie candles and paper bouquets are, but he will definitely feel the sentiment behind them. Every day is Theo's day in his world. The gift of giving is enough for him! And it will be for anyone lucky enough to be the recipient.
Start as you intend to continue. Let May 11 be the beginning of a Forever Everyday celebration. xx
