Stationery, Not Stationary

Practising brain flow, clarity and mindful movement.

Hands up, whoever got Stationery and Stationary mixed up?  Us too! It’s a tricky one. Mind-boggling, you might say.

Here's how to remember (thanks, Google!)

Stationery (e): Think "paper" or "envelope." It includes items like pens, pencils, and paper.

Stationary (a): Think "at rest" or "standing still." It means immobile or fixed in one place.

Coincidentally, World Health Day is just around the corner (April 7 to be exact), and we were thinking, what better way to stay healthy than with some activities to keep your body, mind and spirit fit as a fiddle! 🎻

Look, see what we have come up with:

Cavallini & Co. Poster Wrap / Australia Map | $9.95

Printed on ivory laid paper, these decorative wraps are perfect for framing, gift wrap, collage or book coverings.

Notabag Crossbody Bag | $63.95

Not feeling the stillness? Stagnicity taking over? Get up, sling a bag over your shoulder and go for a walk. Walking is, in fact and indeed, a perfect way to get serotonin flowing in your brain. Rumour has it (yes, that would be The Internet), that a regular walking routine can “enhance mental clarity and flow by acting as a reset button for the brain. We’ll take it.  With gusto!

Carry it over your shoulder, across your body, in your hand, or even around your waist. It’s the perfect format for your everyday accessories, and if you need extra space simply pop the buttons and unfold it to laptop size.

There’s a carabiner clip for your keys, two inner pockets, and our classic multifunctional strap — all the discrete and practical details you’d expect from a Notabag. And, of course, the bag and strap materials are 100% recycled. Isn’t that just what we do with plastic bottles nowadays?

This bag also won the German Design Award 2023. Hurrah! 🏆
