Is it Too Early To Think About Christmas?

No! No! No! (And a Ho! Ho! Ho!)

We think it’s OK. Better than OK! It’s October, after all! The sun is shining (mostly), and we bet St Nick is already waxing up his board in preparation for shredding some sick Aussie swells. I mean, he only gets down here once a year, are we right?!

Besides, it's the perfect time for super-organised people -yes, we’re looking at you- to start getting in the Merry headspace of December 25, and stock up.

That's what we're here for, Pulp Fam. We have your back, front sides and -dare we say- bottoms?

Meri Meri Fringed Christmas Tree Hats

What’s better than a Christmas tree that you can put on your head?! We’re stumped! (Geddit!? Lol.)

In all seriousness though, what’s up with the party hat!? We’ll tell you, Pulp Revellers.

The party hat has its origins in the dunce cap, of all things, which was ceremoniously given to misbehaving school children to wear in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It came to represent an attitude of the hat wearer  to be in relaxation mode, or even reversal of social norms. In other words, Hat Time means Party Time!

So put a leafy green accent on your outfit this Chrissy; share them around for all the family to twin with you and get into relaxation mode! Here are the stats for the Meri-Meri Christmas Pary hat:

  • Crafted with fringed tissue paper, and comes in mint, green and light blue.
  • It has a large shiny silver foil star to go on the top (you'll need to attach this).
  • Decorated with glittering stars, using plant based Eco glitter in gold, silver, red, blue and green.
  • Comfortably held in place with a metallic silver elastic cord.
  • Suitable for ages 3+.
  • Packaging made using sustainable FSC paper.
  • Eco-friendly glitter.
  • Pack of 6 in 3 colors.
  • Dimensions are: 4 x 7.75 x 4 inches.

What about cards?

Charity Christmas Card Packs

Send lovely, warm and happy words to your people. And help a charity while you’re at it.

The sending of a christmas card is an artform. Match your card to your person. For example, Auntie Velma gets the dove and tree image; Cousin Jane gets the Robin and Wreath. Make it a mindful practice: “How is everyone?” “Hope the year has gone well!” Remember all the happy times you’ve spent together and jot them down with love and care.

Cards can be just as poetic as walking through a zen garden, or arranging a bouquet of flowers. You bring the poetry, Australia Post does the rest.

Choose from Dove and Tree, Robin and Wreath, Dove and Trees. These charity Christmas cards come in packs of 8 cards with envelopes (2 designs in a pack) Coming from Caroline Gardner, the printed message inside is “merry christmas and a happy new year:” A helpful starter to your thoughtful missive.
