• People are bigger than their past, experiences, and circumstances.
• Happiness is one of many emotions.
• Happiness can be found in new love or in contentment with an imperfect life.
• Healing comes from making room for all emotions, including grief, relief, misery, and joy. 

Talk about a grab bag of positivity! We vibe with that! We encourage y’all to embrace your individuality and march to the beat of your own drum.

Benconservato Beasties

Orange Birdman, Sourpuss, Feathered Cat! Oh My!  Gifted creator Emma Kidd is the brain and brawn behind the design and artwork of these fantastic hybrid creatures.

But what’s the deal with these particular Beastie critters? Let’s get an explanation straight from the artist’s mouth! 

“They are all bandits :) With those ones, I wanted to make a collection of slightly shady characters. All out to be cheeky. The sourpuss is definitely the most popular.”

‘Nuff said! So much we can do with these bandits, too! 

• Pretend-play for an impromptu Yuletide puppet panto.
• Place lovingly on the Chrissy tree amongst the more ‘traditional’ ornaments for unparalleled flare!
• Or next to the Elf on the shelf. Who has the most attitude?!

To construct, simply gather the following:

- a pair of small sharp scissors

- a selection of brads (supplied)

- a small hole punch (optional)

- time and a little bit of imagination (don't worry about the imagination part too much; it will all be fine.)

Coffee whiteboard 

This whiteboard is just as delicious as your morning brew. But non-edible, obviously.

Night sky glow in the dark stars! 

But wait. Why is the Sky Blue? Let's put it out there. 

According to NASA: 

“ sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than the other colours because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.”

Hmnm, very interesting! At night, all blue bets are off, and instead, the sky is a glittering array of twinkles. Why do stars appear to twinkle at night? We searched it up for you and here’s what we found!

“The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere. When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities. This causes the light from the star to twinkle when seen from the ground.”

The wonder of nature will never cease!

Recreate the night sky with these glow in the dark stars. Stick ‘em up!  On your walls, that is. Or ceiling. You decide! When it’s lights off time, these stars will have been all ‘charged up’ and ready to glow.
